It’s carnival season, and we’re back with the heat… From Haiti to Africa. Touch to connection, tips to tricks, dips to hips, gouye to ploge, guitar to drums, and konpa Direct to Kompa Love: At this explosive Back 2 Gouyadville Workshop/Dance Social, you can anticipate everything from Gouyad to Raboday, Afrobeats to Afrodance, filled with fun,passion, and a strong foundation. KOTR’s own Sony (Florida) and Watkanda Dance LeRoi (DMV) are the hosts of the evening. Join us for an intermediate/advanced session, although it is also suitable for beginners. After class join us for our regular Konpa fix at the after party. So, if this is your first time, welcome to the world of Konpa with an Afro Dance twist. Music by New Jersey’s finest Dj Kre’ol
