La Placita DMV Festival 2024

La Placita DMV is a vibrant cultural festival celebrating Puerto Rican heritage in the heart of Washington D.C. Born from a vision to bring the Puerto Rican community together, it showcases the rich tapestry of the island’s traditions, music, and cuisine. In its inaugural year, La Placita DMV made history as the first festival of its kind in the nation’s capital, drawing thousands of attendees from the DMV area and beyond.

The 2024 edition of the La Placita DMV Festivall will take place at the Catholic University of America on Saturday, July 27th, 2024. Tickets are now availabe online.

LIMI-T 21
LIMI-T 21 is a prominent Puerto Rican tropical (merengue) music group, it has enjoyed success with over 21 music releases and numerous awards, including Grammy and Billboard nominations.

LUVA
Luva is a Puerto Rican artist renowned for his perfect blend of tropical music, with a distinctive focus on salsa and contemporary urban sounds. In his upcoming performance at the festival, he will showcase an amazing tribute to Marc Anthony, infusing his unique style into the legendary salsa singer’s iconic songs.

Los Hijo E Plena
This tribe is all about that sick fusion of classic and modern styles – think Salsa, Latin Soul, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Urban, Afro-Latin, and World Fusion Music all rolled into one dope sound.

Kadencia
Kadencia promotes, and preserves Afro-Puerto Rican music, and they are all about spreading the sound far and wide. Kandencia wants to hit every corner and rock every stage, bringing the heat wherever they go.
