After Dark: Latin Social Dance Kennedy Center Dance Sanctuaries with FEROCITY

These classes will serve as an introduction to the Social Latin dance world in Bachata and Salsa. Students will learn fun patterns and the technique to execute them so they can enjoy the rhythms and culture of social dancing

Participants must be 16 years old to participate

Class #1 Title: Bachata

Carolina Bonilla & Kat Arias
Class will go in depth regarding differing techniques, hand holds, connections, and body manipulations to learn how to safely and successfully execute different movements.
Athletic clothing and shoes with a non grip soles are encouraged!

Class #2 Title: Salsa

DJ Emerzive
DJ Emerzive will play a mix of Bachata and Salsa music so you can practice your moves and enjoy what the feeling of what a social dance environment can be like: A good time with great people!
