Join us for our first Baila Thursdays of 2024! Baila Thursdays is Baila DC‘s bi-monthly salsa social at La Cosecha in the Union Market District of Washington, DC! Enjoy a beginner Salsa Footwork lesson with Baila DC, music by DJ Mambo Soul, and open dancing; plus cocktails and food at nearby vendors at La Cosecha!

Thursday, January 4th, 2024
- 6:45 PM – Check-in
- 7-8 PM – Beginner Salsa Lesson w/ Baila DC (no partner necessary)
- 8-11 PM – Open dancing + music by DJ Mambo Soul
Cost
- $15 online for salsa class + open dancing ($20 at the door)
- $7 online for open dancing only ($10 at the door)
*Online pre-registration via Ticket Tailor is recommended. A limited number of walk-up spots will be available and will be first-come, first-serve.

La Cosecha is a contemporary market celebrating Latin American culture and conversation through authentic flavors, art, and heritage. Dance classes and social will be held on the main floor of La Cosecha in front of Serenata Bar.
Our COVID Policy for Open Dancing
Masks are optional. For the safety of our community, we ask that you only dance without a mask if you are fully vaccinated. We will have disposable masks and hand sanitizer available upon request.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking in La Cosecha Parking Garage is free for the first 3 hours and $12 thereafter. Ample free parking is available in the lot in front of Union Market or on the street. Metro Access. Take the Red Line to the NoMA-Gallaudet U stop. Bus Access. The market is accessible by the U St-Garfield Metrobus lines (90, 92 and 93).
