Be One Methodology was created by Ocho to help dancers of all skill levels improve aesthetics and connection in all partner dances. It involves the individual connecting with the ground, themselves, their partner, music and surroundings on a deep level to create beautiful form and communicate effectively by leading and responding to execute more advanced dance moves comfortably and with precision.
This outdoor retreat will offer opportunities to learn more about these concepts, do activities such as connection games and social dance to sounds that complement our natural surroundings.
PROGRAM
11:30am | Meet at the Meeting point
12:00 -12:30pm | Warm up and stretch with flow at the river bank
12:45 – 2:30pm | Workshop 1 by the monuments
· Introduction to Be One Methodology
2:30 – 3:00pm | Snack Break by the monuments with Music
2:30 – 2:45PM | Nature Walk
2:45 – 3:30pm | Workshop 2 at serene location
· Zouk Nirvana Soltinho heaven
Optional group cuddle activity
3:30 – 3:45 | Nature Walk
3:45 – 4:30pm | Workshop 3 at secret beach
· Isolate everything body movement
4:30pm – 5:30 | Muddy social dancing in the river
6:00pm | Optional group dinner at Kanpai-Sushi Rosslyn
